BPC-157 / TB-500

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) white/off-white powder in a sealed sterile vial. Requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water prior to use. Each vial contains a 10mg blend — 5mg BPC-157 and 5mg TB-500 — at ≥99% purity.

This pre-blended vial — sometimes referred to in the research community as the "Wolverine Stack" — combines two of the most studied tissue-repair peptides via complementary mechanisms. BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (a 15 amino acid partial sequence of the human gastric protein BPC) demonstrating cytoprotective, angiogenic, and anti-inflammatory properties across multiple tissue types. TB-500 is the synthetic full-length form of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43 amino acid actin-sequestering protein involved in actin regulation, cell migration, and tissue regeneration. Together they have been studied for complementary effects on musculoskeletal repair, tissue regeneration, and inflammation modulation in research models.

Research Background

Research on this combination has examined how BPC-157's cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory signalling interacts with TB-500's actin-sequestering, pro-migratory activity when studied together rather than in isolation. BPC-157's gastric origin extends its research utility to gut-barrier and gastrointestinal tissue models, while TB-500 is frequently studied for its role in angiogenesis and vascular formation at sites of injury. As both peptides act through distinct but complementary pathways — cytoprotection and inflammatory modulation on one hand, cellular migration and vascular formation on the other — the blend is used in research protocols examining connective tissue, muscle, and joint repair models where both mechanisms are relevant.

Key Research Areas
Connective tissue models — both compounds studied individually in tendon and ligament repair; combined for multi-mechanism research
Muscle repair — studied across acute and chronic muscle injury models
Joint repair research — studied for inflammatory and tissue-repair signalling in joint structures
Angiogenesis — TB-500 studied for vascular formation at injury sites
Gastrointestinal models — BPC-157's gastric origin extends utility to gut-barrier and GI tissue research
Studied Mechanisms
VEGFR2-mediated angiogenesis and vascular repair signalling (BPC-157)
Actin sequestration and cytoskeletal regulation supporting cell migration (TB-500)
Inflammation modulation, including IL-6 and TNF-α suppression
Fibroblast migration and collagen synthesis at repair sites
Combined/additive signalling across cytoprotective and pro-migratory pathways
