Sermorelin

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) white powder in a sealed sterile vial. Requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water prior to use. Each vial contains 5mg of Sermorelin at ≥99% purity.

Sermorelin is a synthetic version of the natural signal your body uses to trigger growth hormone release. It replicates the first 29 amino acids of GHRH (growth hormone releasing hormone) — the portion of the molecule responsible for binding to pituitary receptors and activating the growth hormone pathway. Unlike modified analogues, Sermorelin uses the unmodified native sequence, making it a particularly clean research tool for studying GHRH receptor activity in its most natural form. It is one of the most extensively studied GHRH peptides in preclinical literature, with a well-documented profile covering receptor binding, downstream IGF-1 effects, and dose-response relationships.

Research Background

Research has extensively documented Sermorelin's effects on pituitary growth hormone release, including dose-response relationships, receptor binding kinetics, and downstream effects on IGF-1. Studies have also compared Sermorelin with modified GHRH analogues to understand how specific amino acid changes affect stability, potency, and receptor selectivity — work that helps characterise the structure-activity relationships of GHRH peptides and informs the development of novel analogues.
